Project One = Success!
Trouble in Paradise was my first assignment for my
Introduction to Technology class. It has been a host of first times for
me; my first time with a Mac, and my first time with Adobe Photoshop. It
was really fun to make. I didn't really make up a storyline for the
movie in order to make the poster. The foal was a family comedy/drama
film. It probably has some ridiculous plot with a comical family crisis
(that the girl is obviously not happy with!) Or maybe it's all about the
girl? I don't know, but it does look like the kind of movie I would
usually see. I don't know what that says about my choice in movies. I'll
leave that to your imagination!

I love this poster! You really set the mood for a fun family film. In my mind, the little girl's name is Matilda and she really hates her older brother's (guy a the top) new girlfriend. So her and her other two siblings at the bottom does everything in their power to break up the new relationship. All in all, if this movie was real I would go check it out. Great job;)
ReplyDeleteAwesome job!! I really like this a lot. I never really saw it during the process cause you are so quiet and to yourself, you gotta open up girl! ;-), but I love the finished piece. I like the two kids at the bottom looking up at the girl indicating she is the problem. I also like your logo you designed but it gets lost in the boys grey shirt. Maybe move it to the right some on the green grass. I also like how you portrayed depth between the two Polaroids by using the shadow. Great job and looking forward to more of your work, and possibly more conversation in class... lol
ReplyDeleteAwesome Poster! You made this Poster look so real! you set the theme for the poster.. the kids look great especaily the little girl in the middle...the background pictures fits great with your theme. i love your logo also! your Fonts Fit in great your mood and theme! great Job!!
ReplyDeleteThis is pure awesome. Though it reminds me a bit of the "Parent Trap". Mainly off of Mrs. Tate's post, but this is really good. I wouldn't believe it was your first time on Photoshop unless you said it.
ReplyDeleteOOOOOOOHHHHHH MYYYY GOOOOODDDNEESSSSS!!!! I LOVE THIS SO MUCH! Unfortunately (if that's even the right word lol), I agree with EVERYTHING Justin said, starting from the quietness to the whole movie poster as well. Yes, you may be quiet because you're like soo deep and concentrated on your work, but girl come on I know you're not THAT quiet. But anywho, this movie poster makes me want to, possibly, fix mine a little bit more. ALSO, I want to go to the movies when it comes out, BUT you didn't tell us when it would be in the movie theatres. :) Great, beautiful, professional, and awesome job lol.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great movie poster! It look like it would be a very funny and dramatic movies to watch. I like how you developed the color schems, and how you brought out the personality of the characters of the poster, it looks like it will be a good movie to go see. The way you arranged the characters on the poster also tell a story with in it's self. I think this is a very good poster, Well Done.
